Slang dictionary Bunny hopping MTB
University. Friend, spasmic, could not walk. Told me until a few years I could only crawl.
By all standard he was considered disadvantaged in life.
Did two studies at once.
Walked a mile at graduation.
Life will never throws anything at you that there is no seed within you that helps you “overcome” it. You need to look for that seed and it is not outside it is inside you. That is why it is called an insight. Words are powerful, words have meaning.
Mentor KT says. When you look back at all your successes you will see that a disaster motivated you. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.
When you fall down while mtb you don’t sit at the side of the road complaining that the trail is bad, that your bike was wrong. No you check if nothing is broken. You dust off and get back going, throwing yourself another challenge. Yes sometimes it is hard. But you learn and become the person that is big enough to overcome the problem.
Every problem is there to challenge you to become a bigger person. So big that you can step over the problem easily, where it tripped you up before. Problems are stepping stones for personal growth.
You will never seize to have problems. In fact they will probably get bigger. The measure is, how long does it take you to overcome them. If everytime you get a bit faster than you must be doing something good!
“Don’t wish it was easier wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge wish for more wisdom”
Dedicated to Aris van Velden (link naar autobiografie). Who showed me the awesome power of the Wil.
